About the chef

Yves Malenfant is a master of blending culinary cultures and styles and extracting flavours from fresh local produce. A veteran of Montreal’s finest hotels and convention centres, his carefully crafted and inventive meals were so popular with the downtown business crowd that he was inspired to open up the first Comptoir du Chef in 2007. His creative vision and passion for food are unmistakable in every one of Comptoir’s unique meals.
